From October 19th to 28th 2011, AEPADO participated to the national seminar “Dialogue and cooperation between youth leaders and authorities” organized at Iasi, by Kasta Morrely NGO. The seminar was attended by youth leaders from 13 cities from all over Romania, who attempted to identify instruments to improve communication and cooperation between youth leaders and authorities. At the same time, the project activities intended to attract youngsters towards volunteering and others extracurricular activities.
The aim of the seminar was to discuss different problems that youngsters face in their relationship with authorities, and to make a platform for civic collaboration between the project partners. During debates, it was consistently noted the importance of creating a sustainable partnership between schools, authorities and NGOs, that will lead for sure to the progress of our community.
Cristea Dumitru and Ana Dragomir, the two participants from JUMIGG program, they presented, throughout the project, numberous ways to combat various types of violence.
